Fluffy Buttercream Frosting
□ 1 ½ CUPS (327g) BUTTER AT ROOM TEMPATURE
□ 4 CUPS (480g) POWDERED SUGAR
□ 2 TBS WATER
□ 2 TBS CORNSTARCH
□ 2 tsp VANILLA EXTRACT
□ 1/4 tsp SALT
DIRECTIONS
Use a stand mixer with the whisk attachment, or a handheld mixer and whip the room temperature butter for 1-2 minutes or until it appears lighter in color. Scraping the sides down every minute or so.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and whip for another minute or until the buttercream is light and fluffy.
The frosting is best on sugar cookies!
This recipe doesn’t contain milk, so you do not have to refrigerate it.
